Model: Ewelina
Age: 21
City:
Dublin

Ewelina is a happy (but very busy) mother and often has no time for make-up. She usually wears comfortable clothes so we decided to play with her every day look and create something more elegant and fresh.

Make-up:

After cleaning and moistorising Ewelina’s skin, we applied a special silicone make-up base and medium coverage foundation. Then we covered dark circles under her eyes (liquid concealer) and set everything with light powder.

We applied eyeshadow base and add pinky gold colour all over the lid. Next, we outlined her eyes using black pencil, blended the harsh line and cover it with graphite eyeshadow. We accented the inner corner of the eye with white pearl colour (it makes her eyes bigger) and added false eyelashes.

Look is almost complete. Just a touch of raspberry blush, nude lipstick and plum lipgloss and we are done!

Cosmetics we used:
- MaxFactor Second Skin Foundation – natural
– MaxFactor Cream Puff Powder nr 01
– YSL, Easy Liner for Eyes, Automatic Eyeliner, black
– Kryolan Blush
– MaxFactor False Lash Effect mascara, black
– Kryolan Eyeshadows
– Kryolan Lipstick
– False lashes Royal

Hair:

Our hair stylist decided to tease Ewelina’s hair.

Ewelina: “I am very happy with the result!! The atmosphere in Studio was amazing! Girls are remarkable!! Thank you Envy Team – this day will stay forever in my memory”.

Model: Daria
Age: 23
City:
Dublin

Daria is a member of our Envy Team. She decided to try something new on… herself.

Make-up:

My skin is very dry so before applying a foundation I used a special base for my type of skin. Then I covered my face with medium coverage foundation.

I started from eyeshadow base. Using a medium size soft brush I applied lilac eyeshadow on the inner third of the lid. Then I patted pearl white eyeshadow on the middle third of the lid and added a goldish pink colour to the end of my eyelid.  Next I accented the area over my crease with a line of a dark blue eyeshadow and blended it lightly with pressed powder. I outlined my upper lash line using eyeliner.  Half of the lower lash line is covered with gold colour and another half with golish pink (colours are blended together). I added the mascara.

I accented cheeks with a pink blush and added some highlighter on the cheekbones and applied a pressed powder.

Lips – two versions: orange and pink lipstick.

Cosmetics I used:
- Kryolan Eyeshadows
– Kryolan Lipstick
– Kryolan Blush
– Foundation, Max Factor, Lasting Performance no 102
– Elizabeth Arden Double Density Mascara (black)
– Essence, Highlighter
- Pressed Powder Kryolan
– YSL, Easy Liner for Eyes, Automatic Eyeliner, black

Hair:

I decided to tie up my hair into a sleek bun to emphasize my face shape.

Daria: “As we know pastels were the hottest trend for spring and summer that is why I decided to create this look.  It is a romantic make up with a drop of elegance. I absolutely adore a strong accent on the cheeks and my orange lipstick. This look looks great with pink lips, is more funky and fresh. Hope you like my version of romantic make up”.

Model: Martyna
Age: 25
City: Dublin

Martyna is the winner of this year’s “Free makeover” competition, which was organized by WingsOfEnvy Team, D1 studio and Polonia Extra. It was a pleasure for us to work with such a genuine, funny and smiley person.
Her energy and optimism had very positive consequences on our entire beauty team, and we all had a great fun while working with this lovely lady.

Make-up:

We are preparing the skin for a makeover with cleansing, toning and moisturizing. After making sure that the moisturizer was absorbed, we are applying a very light foundation, which is great especially during the warm days. We are using the concealer to cover all of the skin’s impurities, dark circles and so on and then finishing with a very light, mineral transparent powder. Mineral cosmetics contain natural SPF factors which are extremely important for our skin, especially during the summer time.

Next we are concentrating on Martyna’s eyes. We are applying a special base onto the entire surface of her lid. This will ensure that the colours of the eyeshadow look even more rich and vibrant, and it will prevent it from fading away. We are then applying a very dark-grey (nearly like grafit) colored eyeshadow onto the outer-layer of her lid. Using the very same eyeshadow we are concentrating on the whole length of the hollow in the lid. We are applying it gently, using a special brush and robbing it upwards. As the next step we decided to use a very shiny, silver eyeshadow onto the inner layer of the lid and gently robbing the borders between the both colors to help it look more even. In order to make Martyna’s eye bigger and sparkly we are using a silvery-lilac colored eyeshadow to apply onto her eyebrow ridge (from the eyebrow until the start of the darker eyeshadow). To highlight the lower eyelash line we are using the sliver eyeshadow again. We are drawing a line onto the inner layer of the lower lid with a white pencil, which is mainly going to optically enlarge her eye. To achieve a more dramatic effect we are adding some false eyelashes. We are then adding some bronzing powder onto Martyna’s cheeks to highlight her cheekbones and a shiny natural lip gloss onto her lips. This will make her look very feminine and sexy. It is very important to remember about the balance that the whole make up should have. If the eyes are done with darker dramatic colors, then the lips should stay fresh, natural and light.

Martyna: “It was an extraordinary experience for me. Both the stylist and a photographer are very professional .The girls advised me which make up and colors are the best for my skin and beauty type. I also found out how to dress according not only to my shape type but also to my skin color. The best fun was in front of the camera when I was making posing. I was so amazed with the effect at the end. Thank you so much girls. I would recommend it to any lady.”

Model: Gabi

Gabi has been watching our Makeovers since the beginning. She never wears make-up so she was very curious about the final effect.

Make-up:

After cleaning the skin I applied a light coverage foundation and light concealer under Gabi’s eyes. Next I prepared the lids using shadow base. I decided to do pink and turquoise make-up to accent her beautiful eyes. To complete the look I choose peachy blush and light pink-beige lipgloss.

Hair:

We decided to straighten Gabi’s hair to enchant her beautiful face features.

Gabi: “I was very excited and couldn’t wait to see the final results of my makeover! I’ve always wanted to take part in a professional photo shoot! It was really great experience! And I have to say that I was surprised because I thought that my color palette is totally different! Thank you girls for GREAT fun and advice!”

Model: Danielle
Age: 27
City: Dublin

Danielle is a photographer so she spends her time behind the camera and she rarely wears any make-up. Her clothes are comfortable and casual. Danielle wanted to have a chance to see what it feels like to be a real Star! Sexy and glamorous!

Make-up:

Cosmetics I used:
- Lancome Hypnose Volume Mascara Black
– Inglot eyeshadows (Pro palette)
– ArtDeco Eyeshadow Base
– Perfecting Concealer shade a, Stila
– Elizabeth Arden Sheer Lights Illuminating Pen Concealer (natural)
– Prescriptives, fresh cut cheek color

Hair:

We decided to tie up Danielle’s hair into a sleek bun – elegant and sexy. It emphasized her beautiful face shape and neck.

Danielle: “I had a truly wonderful time at my Wings Of Envy makeover. The make-up artist was a complete professional and really created something unique for me. I don’t normally wear much make-up so it was a wonderful transformation. The photographer really put me at ease and her direction was easy to follow. I felt like a really sexy Rock Star so thank you so much!”

Model: Barbora
Age: 34
City: Dublin

Barbora usually wears comfortable outfits and absolutely no make-up that’s way we went for a crazy hot date look!

Make-up:

After cleaning and moisturising her skin I applied a medium coverage foundation and concealer under her eyes. I set everything with powder and pink/peach blusher. Next I moved to eyes. Barbora has big and gorgeous eyes in deep blue colour so I decided to do a silver-black smoky eyes with a hint of brown. To complete the look I choose light pink lipstick, no lipgloss.

Cosmetics I used:

– Lancome Hypnose Volume Mascara Black
– Inglot eyeshadows (Pro palette)
– ArtDeco Eyeshadow Base
– Illuminating Liquid Foundation shade 20 watts, Stila
– Perfecting Concealer shade a, Stila
– Essence Mineral Blush no 02 Miss Pretty

Hair (by Agnieszka Kolyszko):

Barbora’s hair is naturally curly. They have been straightened and raised upwards, which gave the impression of full hair. I stapled the fronts to the top to reveal her beautiful eyes.

Barbora: “The make-up artist seemed to me self assured, she knew what would suit me. She put the make up on me quickly and professionally. Dark shadows made a real difference! On the other hand the hair stylist was a bit slow and she was trying to achieve the result she wanted again and again but my hair didn’t ‘respond’ the right way. It wasn’t a disaster but I guess my hair is a bit weak or limp for the hairstyle she chose. Shooting the photographs was relaxed, the photographer didn’t push me into difficult poses, just corrected some details. All in all the atmosphere was very enjoyable”.
