Make- Up

Ania dont have any skin problem, so I cover her face with light fundation, then I used a powder in compact to get a perfect matt finish. The 60’s look can’t egzist without a thick eyeliner! No colour on the cheeks, just soft and pale face. And of course strong colour on the lips.

Cosmetics  I used:
– Elizabeth Arden Flawless Finish Skin Balancing Makeup (buff)
– Elizabeth Arden Plump Perfect Lipstick (Perfect Red)
– Elizabeth Arden Double Density Mascara (black)
– Max Factor Creme Puff Compact (Translucent)
– Easy Liner For Eyes Automatic Eyeliner (easy black)

  • How long have you been hairdressing?

Been Hairdressing 20 years, since I left School at the age of 16.

  • When did you realise that you wanted to be a hairdresser?

Realised I wanted to do hairdressing after working in a salon during my summer holidays, to have some cash, and just feel in love with it, I just knew it was for me.

  • What do you love and hate most about your job?

I love everything about my job, the challenges, its never boring, I get to travel and meet really interesting people.
If I had to pick one thing I hate about it it would be some other hairdressers can be two faced and bitchy.

  • What are your favourite hair products to use?

I love the Play Ball range from L’OREAL. There just so much fun and there’s a product in it for every look.

  • What is your favourite hair style?

Always loved Louise Brooks 1920’s bob it timeless.

  • If you could cut any celebrity’s hair who would it be and why?

Would have loved to do Louise Brooks hair, but she’s dead.

If you love coffee you’re going to love this one!

The only thing that usually deters us from enjoying the benefits of exfoliating cosmetic is its high price. But we find a solution! A coffee body scrub! Apart from waking us up in the morning, coffee can be used in many other ways.  Since most of us have a canister of coffee grounds in the kitchen, creating this scrub will be easy and most of all- cheap! Not to mention that the coffee itself has a positive affect on your body that many body scrubs do not provide.

Three main ingredients:

* half cup of coffee grounds (brand does not matter )
* 2 tablespoon raw sugar or sea salt
* 5 or 6 tablespoon of massage oil or baby oil.

Mix these three items together in a bowl. Then add any of these ingredients:

– Cinnamon
–  Honey
– Coarsely grind hazelnuts
– Almond oil, jojoba oil, olive oil
– Vanilla extract

Apply your scrub during the shower. Start from the legs and work all the way up, massaging your skin in a circular motion with your hands or a lufa. Do not use on your face!!!  The more you massage your skin, the more efficient the scrub is in treating cellulite!

Boho-chic is a style of female fashion drawing on various bohemian and hippie influences, that, at its height in 2004-5, was associated particularly with actress Sienna Miller and model Kate Moss in the United Kingdom and Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen and Nicole Richie in the United States. This trend had been going on since late 2000 and appeared to be on the wane by early 2009.

The boho look, which owed much to the hippie styles of the late 1960s, became especially popular after Sienna Miller’s appearance at the Glastonbury Festival in 2004, although some of its features were apparent from photographs of her taken in October 2003 and of others living in or around the postal district of W10 (North Kensington), an area of London associated with bohemian culture since the mid-1950s.

By the spring of 2005, boho was almost ubiquitous in parts of London and was invading stores in almost every British high street. Its adherents were sometimes referred to as “Siennas”, this eponym even being applied to Miller herself: “Sienna’s Sienna-ishness”, as Jessica Brinton put it in the Sunday Times in 2007. Features included “floaty” skirts (notably long white ones), furry gilets, embroidered tunics, cropped jackets, large faux-coin belts, sheepskin (“Ugg”) boots and cowboy boots, baggy cardigans and “hobo bags”. Demand was so great that there were allegations the following year of some sub-contractors’ having used cheap child labour in India for zari embroidery and beading.

Footless tights or “leggings”, of which Miller was a proponent, were a contributory factor in the halving of sales of stockings in Britain between 2003 and 2007.
