Valentine’s Day does not have to be all about red or pink! Here is our make-up proposal:
How to achieve this look? It’s pretty simple! Follow our step by step tutorial.
Step 1:
Prime your eyes. The primer will ensure a better eyeshadow’s application and a longer stay. Follow up with applying a base eyeshadow (matte color similar to your skin complexion). Use a black pencil on your waterline. Apply a yellow gold eyeshadow on the inner part of your eyelid. Use a deep blue shade underneath the eye (outer part) and mix it with a green-ish shade (I used deep minty shade with golden sparkles). Remember to accent your inner part of lower lashline with the same yellow gold eyeshadow you used on your lid. Apply a small dot of a light shimmer eyeshadow by the tear duct.
Step 2:
Mix the deep blue shade with lilac and apply it on the outer corner of your eye. Connect it with lower line.
Step 3:
Blend the shade of blue mixed with lilac upwards and add a brown eyeshadow (just above the socket line). Add highlight color on the brow bone. You may use shimmer or matte eyeshadow depending on your own preference (I used the matte base eyeshade). Take a clean blending brush and blend everything together to get a smooth transition between colors.
Step 4:
Line your upper lash line with a gel liner. Apply lashes if you want and finish off with mascara. Add golden beads if you want and you are ready for your Valentine’s Day dinner!
